NBIC R-Stamp

While the steam boiler in their building isn’t even on the average person’s radar screen, for those who maintain facilities, there’s a lot more to steam boiler repair than it may seem.

For the majority of States across the United States, there are laws that require steam boiler repairs to be performed by an organization that possesses a valid Certificate issued by the National Board of Boiler and Pressure Vessel Inspectors. Generally recognized by the R Stamp Symbol, this certification means that the repair companies have gone through a rigorous authorization process for R Stamp welding which ensures a safe and reliable steam boiler repair that is made under warranty.

Gold Coast Refractory Service can perform this R Stamp Welding, and holds the Certificate of Authorization and R Stamp symbol for the repair and/or alteration of boilers, pressure vessels and other pressure-retaining items.

This means that we follow a rigorous Quality System to protect the entire scope of steam boiler repairs or alterations to be made. After the repairs are made, Gold Coast Refractory Service will complete the required forms and deliver them to the owner signed by an authorized inspector.
